Stepping up to the GTS gets you 20-inch wheels, high-performance brakes, a tuned adjustable air suspension, a sport exhaust system, unique exterior styling elements, front sport seats and a simulated-suede headliner.
The 2018 Porsche Cayenne Turbo includes the Cayenne S equipment plus adaptive LED headlights, a full leather interior, a heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats, 18-way adaptive power-adjustable front sport seats and a 14-speaker Bose surround-sound audio system.
The top-level Cayenne Turbo S adds a 21-inch wheels, ultra high-performance carbon-ceramic brakes, electronic-locking rear differential, active anti-roll bars, brake torque-vectoring, carbon-fiber interior, two-tone leather upholstery, a dash-mounted timer and the Sport Chrono package.
There also submodels called the Platinum Edition which adds a range of popular options plus special exterior trim and 20-inch wheels. The E-Hybrid version also adds an auxiliary climate system that allows precooling or preheating the cabin. The 2018 Porsche Cayenne GTS get a more powerful version of the S engine that produces 440 horsepower and 442 lb-ft of torque. The Cayenne Turbo is powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.8-liter V-8 engine that pumps out 520 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. The turbo can hit 60 mph in just 4.2 seconds with a top speed of 173 mph.
The range-topping Cayenne Turbo S adds an even more powerful version of the Turbo V8 good for 570 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. It took only 3.8 second to reach 60 mph and top-speed at 173 mph. The last is Cayenne S E-Hybrid that is powered by a supercharged 3.0-liter V6 and an electric motor that produces a total of 416 hp and 435 lb-ft of torque.
One of Porsche’s advantages is good quality build, and the 2018 Porsche Cayenne interior is no exception. It’s neat, functional in design and wrapped in high quality materials. Everything is finished with an elegant standard. The cabin layout is very intuitive and well insulated, and has excellent finishing and fit. As you spend your time traveling or taking long trips, Cayenne provides a comfortable place from the outside world.
With so many adjustable seats available, the 2018 Porsche Cayenne will provide a better driving position than most competitors.
