Engine Specs

Every 2018 Jaguar F-Pace comes standard with all-wheel drive, hill-start assist, an eight-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and an automatic stop-start system. There are four engine choices: 25t, 30t, 35t and 20d.

The 2018 Jaguar F-Pace 25t is powered by a new turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four that produces 247 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. Jaguar claims it can hit 60 mph in 6.4 seconds. EPA fuel economy estimates at 24 mpg combined (22 city/27 highway).

The 30t version of the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder produces 296 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, 49 hp more than the 25t models. EPA fuel economy is similar.

The 2018 Jaguar F-Pace 35t models get a 3.0-liter supercharged V6 that produces 340 horsepower (380 on the S) and 332 pound-feet of torque. Jaguar estimates that this engine will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds or 5.1 seconds with the S. Which is among the quickest in the segment. EPA fuel economy at 20 mpg combined (18 city/23 highway).

The 2018 Jaguar F-Pace 20d has a 2.0-liter turbodiesel inline-4 that produces 180 hp and 318 lb-ft of torque. Jaguar estimates that it will hit 60 mph in 8.2 seconds. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 29 mpg combined (26 city/33 highway).

Interior

The 2018 Jaguar F-Pace cabin may not be as visually attractive as the exterior, but still upscale and made of high quality materials. The large climate control and InControl Pro touch screen system features sharp graphics, fast responses and large virtual buttons. It may take more time than is possible during the initial use of this system, but will be easy to use afterwards.

On the front, the 2018 Jaguar F-Pace combines the high view of SUV with a low carlike seating position. The seats also offer enough adjustment and space even for higher drivers. At the rear, there is more leg room than most competitors, even with the taller driver in front. The headroom is also good, and the head does not sweep to the roof even if you add panoramic sunroof.

The 2018 Jaguar F-Pace cargo space is great for the class, with 33.5 cubic feet with rear seats in used and a maximum capacity of 63.5 cubic feet (just less than Volvo XC60). And if you use a roof or cargo space to transport kayaks, surfboards or outdoor adventure items, you may be interested with the F-Pace optional Activity Key: a waterproof Fitbit-like bracelet that when placed over the Jaguar liftgate unlocks the car, which allows you to leave the key locked in the car.
